Atlanta Dental Crowns, Veneers and Inlays

Crowns, also called caps or jackets, restore broken, heavily filled or cracked teeth to their original size and shape. Our Atlanta dental experts use them to completely transform damaged teeth into the perfect smile!

Crowns may be recommended on posterior teeth after a root canal, as the teeth tend to become brittle and may fracture. Crowns can strengthen and protect the remaining teeth structure and improve their overall appearance.

Atlanta veneers are thin layers of porcelain, usually between 0.5 and 1.0 mm thick, that cover the front of your teeth in order to reshape the teeth and change their color. We use natural tooth-colored porcelain to make the crown blend in with the rest of your teeth. And veneers are more conservative, leaving more of the original structure intact.

Inlays and onlays are fillings also made of porcelain and bonded into your teeth. Inlays fit within your teeth, and onlays cover one or more of the cusps of your teeth. If your teeth need a large filling, we may recommend inlay or onlay restoration.

Our dental office in Atlanta uses the state-of-the-art CEREC 3-D® CAD-CAM computer and milling machine, which enables our doctors to complete your procedure usually within the same day. This eliminates temporary fillings or solutions, as well as all the waiting you have to do to regain your confidence.
